A 25-year-old woman from St. Charles, the driver of a blue 2021 Hyundai Venue, suffered critical injuries after her vehicle, moving north on Francis Road, made an overly wide right turn onto Route 38. This mistake led her directly into the path of an oncoming NIU Huskie Bus, which was traveling westbound on Route 38, resulting in a severe impact. The St. Charles driver was quickly transported to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva, demonstrating the urgent care needed due to her multiple traumatic injuries.
