Cronauer Law Joins the 2026 Sycamore Pumpkin Festival Parade

Sycamore is home for Cronauer Law, and no weekend shows off this town quite like the Pumpkin Festival. This year our team, along with family and friends, rode in the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival parade with a float of our own and handed out treats to the families lining the route.

It was a beautiful fall day, the leaves were turning, and the streets were packed with kids in costume. We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon to spend with our neighbors.

Our Float at the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival Parade

Our float took its inspiration from George Washington crossing the Delaware. A weathered rowboat rode on a sea of painted waves, decked out with oars, hay bales, pumpkins, and a 13-star flag at the bow. “General Washington” stood watch from the boat while kids in tricorn hats and Cronauer Law shirts rode along, and our crew in colonial dresses and aprons walked beside the float.

Treats Along the Route

The best part, of course, was the candy. We filled up buckets of treats and passed them out to kids all along the parade route, through downtown Sycamore and right past the DeKalb County Courthouse. Seeing so many families out waving flags and filling their bags made it an easy day to love.

Why We Show Up

Our office is right here in Sycamore, and the people who come to us for help are often our neighbors. Showing up for events like the Pumpkin Festival is one small way we get to give back to the community that has supported us.

Thank you to the festival organizers, volunteers, and sponsors who make this weekend happen every year, and congratulations to Grand Marshal Ethan Wargo and Friend of the Festival Terri Goodman. We’re already looking forward to next year.
